Affection

Hi friends,

Today is my daughter Aaliyah's Birthday. She felt herself special today. Early morning she beautified herself and waited for the loving greetings and blessings from her loved ones with expectation. She said a prayer of thanks to her heavenly father, who knew her before she was born. She was excited to hear from me all her babyhood stories.

Even i was pondering about her childhood. How she cried, how she smiled, learning to walk, the numerous falls,how she played...... how fast time goes by. I cherished the sweet memories that engraved in my heart and this elevated my affection towards her. Yes, she is beautifully and wonderfully made by God. I thanked God for her. Children are an heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is His reward.

I realise that the affection i have for my child is the same for God towards us because he is the creator of our being. We are His offspring. He watches just as a parent watches their children. We have a loving father who takes care of us.

Do you have a relationship with this father who is the creator of the universe? He is the Father who longs for a relationship with his children. We have a forgiving father who waits for us to repent our pasts and restores us and receives us as sons and daughters. Just imagine the richess of being His children. Whatever he has we inherit if we have a father-child relation. In natural as we inherit our earthly fathers' inheritance, we receive our heavenly fathers blessings if we love him.

Let me leave you with this thought: suppose your son or daughter has got stuck in some heights. He is afraid to climb down. When his father says, son just jump i will catch you, do not be afraid. What would your son or daughter do? This child completely believes and has full confidence in his father that he would not miss him but will catch him. He knows his father's potential and allows himself to jump believing that his father would catch him safe. But just imagine when a stranger asks him to jump? Will he jump? He would think a bit.


This is how you will be when you know your heavenly Father. You will have full confidence in Him because you know who he is and how strong he is. From there you will learn to put confidence in Him and rely on Him in every way. Just give all your worries, struggles, all your decisions, your future, share your joy, happiness to the greater power;to the maker of mind, and you relax hoping that the father will protect and provide for you. If you are a stranger to Him then you would not know to whom to confide other than you who is weaker than a grass that blooms one day and dies the next day.

Let me end this session by quoting from the bible, Hebrew 13:5 says
" Never will I leave you, Never will I forsake You" says the Lord

This is the Almighty Gods' Promise to us, What more do we want.

Seasons

Hi Friends

This is Elizabeth with you to share some of the thought provoking life lessons which I learnt through experience and focus on life. Through the councelling of many people the valuable wisdom that I learnt and still learning is being fruitful in my life and in the life of many. so why not to expand to this world and touch lives near and far.

I Just admire the creation and its majesticity. So do i give the whole honor and glory to the creator. He is simply beautiful. The nature itself takes a normal process of change in its own time and its own seasons. Have a look at the four seasons of nature; spring, summer, Autumn, Winter. Each has its own beauty and elegancy. This is the same principle in human life also, i believe. There are seasons in our lives which bring changes physically, emotionally, mentally and materially. Childhood, youth, adult and old age has its own changes and pecularity. As time passes the circumstances change, places change and even our thought life change. To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

But the thing i learnt most is that the choices we make in our lives destines our future. We are where we are due to the choices we made. We need to learn to make wise choices that makes our life a blessing. For this reason you need to know who you are, the great potential the Almighty has placed in you. We should know that each one of us are created for a purpose. No one can replace that purpose in you. You are unique and prescious. As the Bible says,"I am wonderfully and beautifully made".

Let me leave you with this thought: The destiny of a seed is a tree. By faith you can see the tree within the seed. You have a vision of it in your mind's eye because you know the potential in the seed. The same thing is true for you and me. God has placed within us the potential for fulfilling the purpose. So let us use our full potential while we are in this world itself, so that we can be fruitful like a strong tree that gives its unfailing fruit and shade to the mankind, animals and birds. Such a tree withstands the buffeting of the wind and storms and flourishes. Remember each one of us are unique and there is a reason you are here that only you can fulfill. No one can replace your purpose in life. So go for it....we are able to cope with each seasons of life.
