Recently i happen to read the 'Book OF Jeremiah'. It is so true that as we read the Bible again and again there will be more depth and inspiration coming up. No wonder the Bible says The Word of God is living and active.
As I was going through this book i learnt that, God was sharing His pains and complains to Jeremiah His prophet. I would like to quote 2 verses as an example
Jehovah also said to me(Jeremiah) in the days of Josiah the king, Have you seen that which backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and has fornicated there. And I said after she had done all these things, Turn to Me! But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. (Jer:3:6,7)
HE has chosen Israel as His own, but Israel has gone after other gods,. so we can see that He is calling them back, asking them to repent and return to him. If they do not repent God could not protect them (Because he works in a just way) so they are going to fall in trouble. Ususally our disobedience paves way for trouble. We should not blame God for certain situation, we should check ourselves and be teachable so that we could correct the mistakes and come back to our forgiving God. The truth is he is ready to receive us at any time and help us out of the evil trap.
It grabed my attention when God shared his pains and complains to a man . Doesnt it look like us sharing our pain and joy to our loved ones. Just like men, God needs people to share his love and pain. God needs people to be His vessel to do His will in this world. We should be available for Him by all means to listen to His cry so that we would work on His behalf. When we study God's nature, it is similar to human nature. It is because we are made in His own image making us as his own children.
Can you hear the cry of the world? In the cry of his people there is God's vioce of pain. Many are suffering in this world....It can be due to their own mistakes out of ignorance. But God's people should understand thier cry and help them out in prayers and deeds. The best solution you can give to them is to introduce Jesus in their life. Jesus says, "come all you are heavy laden, I will give yo rest". But since it is available free men do not bother to pay attention. But those who perceive the truth, they are liken to a person who finds a treasure in a ground. Then he goes and sells all his possessions to buy the land which have the treasure in it. They are wise and they know where to dig and get the springs of their life.
Know Him more, he is gentle and humble, he is compassionate and merciful, abundance in love and peace, He has patience to wait for the sinners to make them saints, His sacrificial love is uncomparable, unconditional love, forgiving, wise enough to understand the limits of human race..........there is more about Him and there is more in Him. When the world says Sky is the limit, i say sky is not the limit for us, infinity is our portion in Him.
